Biodiversity is one of the most complex and fascinating phenomena on earth. It is one of the most important components for the functioning of global ecosystems and represents the basis for the existence and future of mankind. As a result of human interventions in nature, innumerable animals and plants are disappearing from our planet and the Anthropocene is leaving its mark.

The QR code course "SURVIVE/LIVE or The World Without Us" takes visitors with choreographies by Jan Pusch and augmented reality exhibits in and around the Reinbeckhallen into the fragile world of dwindling biodiversity. In the cross-media story of the richness of nature and the inexorable disappearance of species on our planet, the boundaries between fictional events and real experiences are blurred. A narrative of the slow disappearance relaxes - and in its centre: human species. While the human visitors walk through the apparently empty hall, the exhibits, lectures and the biodiversity of our earth only appear on the screens. In this way, the void that every shrinking species leaves behind can be sensually experienced.

Parts of this show are only in German without surtitles.
