Together with representatives from art and science, we negotiate the pressing issues of our time performatively, innovatively, in various interdisciplinary formats, in unusual locations.

A BETTER FUTURE DOES NOT COME EASILY,

WE CREATE IT.

LET'S SHAPE A BETTER TOMORROW!

Dear allies!

We are thrilled that our newly founded cultural organization SAVE THE FUTURE has been funded by three institutions as part of the federal government's NEUSTART KULTUR funding program, initiated by Minister of State for Culture Monika Grütters: the Performing Arts Fund (#Take Action program), the National Performance Network (Stepping Out program) and the Socioculture Fund.

Under the motto BIODIVERSITY IS OUR LIFE INSURANCE, we will be showing a festival program from August 5-12 that uses innovative formats at the interface of art and science to address species extinction and raise awareness of our treatment of common habitats. Because whether it's the rare moss in the wall crack of the industrial wasteland or the small yellow frog species that is threatened - once they have disappeared, they cannot be brought back. Biodiversity is thus irretrievably lost, and at some point the network of nature threatens to be torn apart altogether. We want to counteract this with the means of art and the wealth of knowledge of research.

We start saving the future right here, in the heart of Berlin: on the industrial site of the Reinbeckhallen, the SPREEHALLE Berlin in Oberschöneweide and in the legendary Kreuzberg music club Ritter Butzke.

Immerse yourself in a still untouched part of the rainforest in the spectacular VR installation "Inside Tumucumaque" and experience the world from the perspective of the species living there. A change of perspective of a special kind is also offered by the installation "Para Social", in which dozens of oversized balls allow you to experience the constriction of living space up close. Follow the famous techno DJ and biologist Dominik Eulberg into the world of biodiversity and celebrate with us to his minimal sounds the greatest artist of all: nature!

We look forward to seeing you!
